Rogue Valley Volunteer Gathering 8/13/26

This month join the Rogue Climate volunteer gathering to learn about lobbying with electeds. Lobbying is where a group of people seek to influence elected officials on a particular issue. This summer, Rogue Climate is focused on the Make Polluters Pay campaign, which aims to pass the Climate Resilience Superfund Bill during this upcoming legislative session in January.

During the August 13th volunteer meeting, we'll be offering a free lobby training where you can learn how to:

• Email a councilor
• Schedule a lobby meeting
• Sign up for a role (storyteller, note taker, asker)
• Follow up with thank you email

We'll provide supplies and a potluck dinner, as well as share key information about the campaign strategy and who we are prioritizing for lobbying with this summer.
