Nearly 6 years ago, South Coast community members supported Rogue Climate to open an office in Coos Bay to help organize local opposition to stop the now-cancelled Jordan Cove LNG project. Fast forward to 2025 and our fight for climate justice is still going strong.
The South Coast office is deepening Rogue Climate’s roots in the community with a new office space in the heart of downtown Coos Bay! Let’s kick off the start toEarth Month plus a new era in this space with a 5+ year celebration of community organizing for climate action on the South Coast–and you’re invited!

During the last 5+ years, the South Coast community has accomplished so much together. Together, an evolving group of active organizers has been cultivated, uplifting community voices to protect the estuary, training many youth activists, and shutting down a fracked gas pipeline! Now, let’s come together to reminisce about the past and scheme for the future of our work together. The Celebration Event will include a ribbon cutting, refreshments, entertainment, and a silent auction!
